(NYSE: FBRT) (“FBRT” or the “Company”), a leading real estate investment trust, today announced that it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire NewPoint Holdings JV LLC (“NewPoint”), a privately held commercial real estate finance company headquartered in Plano, Texas.
