HATTIESBURG, Miss.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The First Bancshares, Inc. (“FBMS” or “the Company”) (NYSE: FBMS), holding company for The First Bank (“the Bank”), (www.thefirstbank.com) reported today financial results for the quarter ended December 31, 2024.Highlights for the quarter:Net income available to common shareholders totaled $18.3 million for the quarter ended December 31, 2024, representing a decrease of 1.5% when compared to $18.6 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2024. The Company recorded $1.1 million provision for credit losses for the quarter ended December 31, 2024 and $1.0 million provision for credit losses for the quarter ended September 30, 2024.Excluding one-time items detailed in the tables located in the appendix of this release, net earnings available to common shareholders, operating (non-GAAP) decreased $0.2 million, or 1.1% to $20.3 million for the quarter ended December 31, 2024 as compared to $20.5 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2024.For
