Asia markets set for higher open after Wall Street extends gains on hopes of softer Trump tariffs [CNBC]

Shibuya, Tokyo, Japan, Asia-Pacific markets were set to open higher Wednesday, tracking Wall Street gains on expectations that U.S. President Donald Trump's tariffs could be softer than expected earlier. Australia's S&P/ASX 200 opened 0.71% higher. Japan's Nikkei 225 futures pointed to a higher open for the market.
