Jarvis believes customers may be hesitant to book a hotel with Ryanair, citing concerns over customer service. This comes as easyJet's holidays arm generated almost a third of the group's total profits, with a pretax profit of £190m in the past year. Ryanair's CEO, Michael O'Leary, has previously dismissed package deals but is now considering re-establishing a holiday division to charge higher fares. The incoming chief executive of easyJet has taken an early swipe at Ryanair, suggesting the rival airline will struggle to cash in on the booming package holiday market Kenton Jarvis, who will take over as easyJet chief in January, cast doubt over whether customers would want to go to a hotel run by Ryanair Mr Jarvis, easyJet's current chief financial office, said: “Ryanair is a different brand.
