inauguration of the Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Fort Mill in South Carolina. The 39-bed facility is said to be the health system's 165 th hospital in the US and ninth in South Carolina. The new hospital is designed to deliver rehabilitative services for patients who are recovering from serious health challenges such as spinal cord injuries, strokes, amputations and complex orthopaedic conditions to regain function. It is equipped to provide intensive therapy for patients, requiring a minimum of three hours over five days a week. The hospital also will provide frequent physician visits and round-the-clock nursing care.
