THE WOODLANDS, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Excelerate Energy, Inc. (NYSE: EE) (“Excelerate” or the “Company”) announced that it has commenced an underwritten public offering of $150 million of shares of its Class A common stock. In connection with this offering, the Company expects to grant the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to $22.5 million of additional shares of Class A common stock at the public offering price, less the underwriting discounts and commissions. The offering is subject to market and other conditions, and there can be no assurances as to whether or when the offering may be completed, or as to the actual size or terms of the offering.The Company intends to use the net proceeds from this offering, together with the expected incurrence of approximately $650 million aggregate principal amount of senior indebtedness, subject to market conditions, and cash on hand, to fund the consideration payable by the Company in the previously-announced pending acquisition
