"While we understand why DKL trades at an elevated yield relative to more liquid peers with stronger balance sheets, we see a disconnect when put into the context of DKL's 1.3x distribution coverage ratio and improved balance sheet," Citi's Douglas Irwin writes, adding that he sees little risk of a distribution cut and actually anticipates continued growth. Combined with a nearly 10% three-year compound annual growth rate driven by recently announced strategic updates that improve Delek Logistics' ( DKL ) outlook, Irwin says he sees a compelling upside opportunity for investors.
