Delta, Alaska, and United were downgraded to "neutral" from "buy" ratings. When the airlines report earnings in the coming weeks, the analysts said they expect full-year projections could be suspended amid the current uncertainty. UBS analysts on Monday downgraded and cut their price targets for a number of airlines amid concerns that the Trump administration's tariffs will drive the U.S. economy into a recession The analysts downgraded Delta Air Lines ( DAL ), Alaska Air Group ( ALK ), and United Airlines ( UAL ) to "neutral" from "buy" ratings. Worsening consumer sentiment and the global impact of tariffs appear "likely to cause deterioration in both international and premium segments which is a significant risk" for the three downgraded airlines, the analysts wrote.
