Salesforce revenue forecast beats estimates, shares rise 7% (Reuters) - Salesforce.com Inc ( CRM.N The company said it expects revenue of $4.44 billion to $4.45 billion for the current quarter, topping analysts’ expectations of $4.25 billion, according to IBES data from Refinitiv. Salesforce has spent billions of dollars on acquisitions in the last few years, adding companies such as Tableau and MuleSoft, as it tries to protect its market share in the face of stiff competition from Microsoft Corp ( MSFT.O ORCL.N Revenue from Sales Cloud, its flagship product for customer relationship management, rose 12.5% to $1.13 billion, accounting for about a third of its revenue.
