Comstock ( CRK ) has seen consistent insider buying from majority shareholder Jerry Jones, Keybanc analyst Tim Rezvan wrote in a note on Thursday. "We remain concerned by Comstock's outsized leverage position (3.3x as of 2Q24; estimated at 2.6x at YE24), but believe the aggressive insider buying, which, we believe, could evolve into a full takeout, makes it a difficult equity for trading oriented investors to sell short." Rezvan, who has a sector weight rating on Comstock, wrote in a note.
