Nissan GT-R Designer Partners With Hi-Tech Gurus THK [Forbes]

When a legendary Nissan GT-R designer and a hi-tech Japanese parts supplier THK join forces to create a car, the industry pays attention. That's what happened at the Paris Auto Show recently as the GT-R's designer Shiro Nakamura, now running his own design studio, partnered with hi-tech parts supplier THK's CEO Akihiro Teramachi on stage to reveal the brand's latest LSR-05 Concept, the first time it's been seen outside Japan. Sitting in amongst a sea of new Chinese EVs, the sleek four-seat, four-wheel-drive crossover-coupe held its own by boasting an eye-opening display of techno-wizardry cleverly enveloped in a futuristic body penned by Nakamura's SN Design Platform studio.
