The bond offers a 9.25% coupon and matures on August 15, 2029. CIMO is a baby bond, issued in small denominations ($25/share) to appeal to retail investors. Due to strong market demand, CIMO has been trading above par since issuance. I am of the opinion that waiting for a dip below par before purchasing CIMO is ideal, as the current pricing may not offer the best value. Our article was well-timed, with investment banks eager to move the bond from their balance sheets in an uncertain environment. We actually bought CIMN for our own account, well below par, only to see it rally substantially a few weeks after when the volume subsided.
