ChargePoint's outlook might not be so bleak despite revenue warning [Seeking Alpha]

Despite ChargePoint ( CHPT ) slashing its revenue guidance, and a worsening balance sheet, Wall Street analysts are not seeing the company's future as bleak as the stock performance would suggest, as cost-cutting measures and operational efficiencies will prop up margins. “We believe the company is approaching a bottom on financial results,” Oppenheimer analysts led by Colin Rusch said in a research note, adding that the trajectory of the recovery, however, is unclear. “With spending adjustments and resources on hand we believe the company has sufficient liquidity to reach breakeven even if its timeline extends to FY27,” Oppenheimer says. By 2026, the company plans to shift its focus on “aggressive growth,” CEO Richard Wilmer said during the earnings call , driven by the launch of Next-Gen software and hardware.
