Buzz van making its way to the U.S., it's sweetening the deal with some charging perks. As a VW product it naturally falls into place for the VW subsidiary Electrify America charging network to partner with the electrified Type 2 bus. On Tuesday, VW and Electrify America gave details on the what every 2025 ID. Buzz purchase would include. The bigger picture is a three-year charging deal. But it breaks down to a more complicated arrangement. The three years includes a free membership to EA's Pass+, which normally costs $7 per month for access to discounted kWh rates. EA says this comes out to about 25% off standard rates at fast chargers. The included membership will save drivers just over $250 over three years. The real charging savings comes with 500 kWh of free charging at EA stations during the three-year period.
