We all know that Paris is a city synonymous with fashion, elegance and artistry. Now, a new art exhibition honors the city's legacy with pearls. Paris, City of Pearls is an exhibition which is on view at the L'École School of Jewelry Arts in Paris until June 1. Vintage jewelry is at the heart of this exhibition, which showcases the exquisite craftsmanship of pearls, not to mention their enduring allure of these timeless gems. Looking at pearl jewelry in the context of Parisian artistry, we get to see the works of great modern jewelry, luxury items like brooches, necklaces and rings. Henri Vever, bodice front, 1905.
