Published by Flammarion Albion Art Jewellery Institute Kazumi Arikawa, the founder and president of Albion Art Jewellery Institute, will launch a new book documenting his ownership of historic and artistic jewels over four decades. The international launch of “Divine Jewels: The Pursuit of Beauty” will be held at L'École, School of Jewelry Arts in Paris on September 18. The school said in a statement that the book is “an important testimonial to the vision and life of the collector.” The event will be held at the Hotel Mercy-Argenteau, the newest Parisian site of L'École. The jewelry arts school with campuses in Paris, Hong Kong, Shanghai and the soon to open school in Dubai, was founded in 2012 with the support of the French luxury jewelry house, Van Cleef & Arpels. To complement the book launch, the school will also hold an exhibition of about 20 pieces from the Albion Art collection on September 19-26, which Arikawa loaned to the school.
