The sale includes rare Patek Philippes from the '40s and '50s, including a the highly coveted references (as worn by John Lennon and Jay-Z) and , three of which are unique pieces. Collectively, these watches are estimated to sell for between $10 million and $22 million. The collection also includes more recent high complications from Vacheron Constantin and A. Lange & Söhne , and a well-preserved 1937 double-signed Universal Genève /Hermès Compax Chronograph. The sale is set for November 10 in Geneva with previews in New York from September 6-9. It's easy to spot the collector's taste in watches: most of are yellow gold, with some pinks thrown into the mix, and all are iconic and rare.
