You may have heard of Behno New York , a luxury handbag line that was built with a social mission. The ethical fashion brand not only is made with expert craftsmanship and materials, but each bag makes the worker's rights a key priority, which is setting a new standard for “conscious luxury.” The brand was founded by Shivam Punjya, a New York-based designer who had a mission to uphold the Behno Standard, which is fair wages, safe working conditions for workers and a commitment to environmental responsibility. The brand was founded in 2015 and its name means "sisters" in Hindi.
