Character creator faces are good, monsters and monster cutscenes are good. Everything else? Something feels off. Now, that can be changed, at least on PC, with a new mod that fixes some of the visual muddiness and clarity. I found this via , and it's the which makes the game look distinctly brighter and better, which you can see in the modified screenshot above. It's not exactly the most involved mod, as the description from creator SnakeyHips says: “REFramework script which disables the use of lens distortion resulting in a sharper image. I've also disabled film grain but not sure this does anything. Although there are options to disable this within the game's config.ini, changing that doesn't seem to do anything so that's why I looked into changing it via a script.
