President Trump's tariffs are set to begin next week, with reciprocal tariffs beginning on Wednesday, April 2, and auto tariffs beginning on Thursday, April 3. The March Jobs Report will be released on Friday, April 4. Economists are predicting 138,000 nonfarm payrolls. There will be ample Fed commentary next week, including from Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell and Fed Governor Michael Barr.
