Cash squeezed U.S. consumers may be feeling the economic pinch but they still love their brands, fuelling storming results at off-price retailer Burlington this morning. The New-Jersey based off-price retailer of branded apparel, footwear, accessories, and merchandise has up 11% for the 52 weeks ended Feb. 1, 2025 this morning. Comparable store sales growth of 6% for its fourth quarter was well ahead of guidance of 0% to 2% growth, while full year net income was $504 million, with comparable store sales growth of 4% and diluted EPS of $7.80.
