DAYTONA BEACH, Fla., Jan. 27, 2025 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Brown & Brown, Inc. (NYSE:BRO) (the "Company") announced its unaudited financial results for the fourth quarter and full year of 2024. Revenues for the fourth quarter of 2024 under U.S. generally accepted accounting principles ("GAAP") were $1.2 billion, increasing $158 million, or 15.4%, compared to the fourth quarter of the prior year, with commissions and fees increasing by 15.4% and Organic Revenue increasing by 13.8%. Income before income taxes was $275 million, decreasing 22.8% from the fourth quarter of the prior year with Income Before Income Taxes Margin decreasing to 23.2% from 34.7% as a result of a gain on disposal of certain third-party claims administration and adjusting services businesses sold in the fourth quarter of 2023.
