DCI Data Centres is a wholly owned portfolio company of the Canadian-based Brookfield Corporation, a multinational investment management company. DCI has invested around A$70m ($45.5m) in the new data centre nicknamed Adelaide 02 (ADL02). It is DCI's second facility in the South Australian region. It is located at Kidman Park, which also houses DCI's previous ADL01 data centre. ADL02 has increased the campus' total capacity by 4MW, reaching 5.4MW of total IT load. It can handle large-scale IT operations and is designed to meet stringent security standards. The ADL02 data centre also offers various other features such as strategic location, robust power supply, sustainability, and enhanced security.
