Perhaps a good title for this story is “a streetlight named you're wired.” San Diego-based Beam Global has come up with a way to turn streetlights into charging stations for battery electric vehicles, the company announced Monday. The product is called BeamSpot. It's a streetlight that's also an EV charger using a combination of grid and renewable energy.
