Recession Canceled... Again: US Durable Goods Orders Back Near Record-Highs In February After the surprising 3.2% MoM surge in January, US durable goods orders were expected to slide in preliminary February data. However, in yet another recession-imminent-narrative crushing 'hard' data point, orders rose 0.9% MoM (-1.0% exp) and January was revised up from +3.2% MoM to +3.3% MoM... Source: Bloomberg The Commerce Department’s durable goods report showed commercial aircraft bookings, which are volatile from month to month, dropped 5% after nearly doubling in January.
