Through March 31, eligible customers with past-due balances can establish a repayment plan by paying 10% of the overdue balance. Beginning April 1, the down payment requirement will revert to the standard rate of 20-25%. Ameren says anyone with an overdue balance is eligible. To establish a payment plan or discuss a utility bill, customers can click here “We understand some of our customers are facing tough economic times,” Joe Solari, vice president of Customer Experience, said. “This payment plan is an opportunity for our customers to manage their energy bills and get back on track.” LIHEAP Funding – Customers may be eligible to receive help through financial assistance programs. In addition to receiving a one-time benefit on your energy bill, LIHEAP-eligible customers will automatically be approved for a credit on their monthly gas bill through the Natural Gas Service
