A customer service representative for the carrier who was contacted from the UK on Thursday said that it's an ongoing issue that engineers are working to address. A spokesperson for Verizon didn't immediately respond to a request for comment. Customers including actor Patrick Schwarzenegger and Nikhil Goel, Archer Aviation Inc.'s chief commercial officer took to social media platform X to voice concerns. Nick Ponton, a 38-year-old producer from New York, said he and his mother were stranded in Seaham, a seaside town on the east coast of the UK, after their phones stopped working around 6 p.m. local time on Wednesday.
