Today, I'm talking with Mercedes-Benz CEO Ola Källenius. Ola was last on the show in 2022, and he promised me he'd come back when Mercedes was ready to launch an EV version of the G-Wagen — the company's legendary off-road vehicle. And it's here — the G580 with EQ technology is official, and it will start at over $150,000. Ola and I talked all about it, what it means for Mercedes' overall electrification efforts, and whether the EQ branding is long for this world. We also talked about the EV market in general — a lot has changed since Ola was on the show in 2022.
