Trump this week hiked tariffs on China-made goods to 145%. The adjacent ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach are the most exposed to the boiling trade war between the two largest global economies. Those Southern California ports are the preferred entry gates for goods from China, which is the No. 1 source of imports at each. "Global trade will slow as companies try to figure out what this means," said Seroka, who also reiterated his forecast for imports at the Port of Los Angeles to fall at least 10% in the second half of this year.
