By 08:20 ET (12.20 GMT), the U.S. crude futures traded 0.1% higher at $81.32 a barrel and the Brent contract climbed 0.1% to $85.75 a barrel. Both benchmarks are on course to register gains of over 3% this week, a second consecutive winning week, trading close to the highest levels in over seven weeks. US crude stockpiles fall Data released on Thursday by the Energy Information Administration showed a drawdown in U.S. crude stockpiles by 2.5 million barrels in the week ending June 14, more than the 2.2 million-barrel draw expected. Additionally, U.S. government data showed total product supplied, a proxy for the country's demand, rose by 1.9 million barrels per day (bpd) on the week to 21.1 million bpd.
