According to a Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification (WARN) letter submitted to the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development (DWD), Charter Communications stated that it will be closing its Regional Support Center at its facility on Knights Way in Fond du Lac. Manufacturing company closing, subsequently laying off 39 Wisconsinites Officials with Charter noted in the WARN letter that this action “is expected to be permanent.” The company expects 122 employees in or related to the Regional Support Center at the Fond du Lac facility to be laid off beginning on August 27.
