Second Nashua Whole Foods set to open next month [Yahoo! Finance]

The 44,600-square-foot store at 272 Daniel Webster Highway is set to open on Dec. 10 and will be known as the "Nashua South" store, according to the company. The former Toys R Us space was set to be an Amazon Fresh, before the company decided to open the Whole Foods, which is also owned by the e-commerce giant. Along with the New Hampshire products, the store will feature 1,180 products from 175 New England-based suppliers, according to a news release. Whole Foods went before the Nashua Zoning Board and got approval for a larger sign for the renovated building. The chain has 500 stores nationwide and sees New Hampshire "as a key growth opportunity," according to a zoning board application. The store is expected to be a destination for those in northern Massachusetts and southern New Hampshire.
