Bidcorp UK snaps up Northern Bloc Ice Cream [Yahoo! Finance]

The company said it has purchased the trade and assets of the ice-cream maker, which supplies the retail and out-of-home channels, including Waitrose, The Co-op, Ocado, the National Trust and Wagamama. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed. Northern Bloc Ice Cream will join Bidcorp UK's network of manufacturing businesses, which includes Simply Food Solutions and Yarde Farm, and will continue to trade under its own brand name.
